Dad the Family Shepherd

Thank you for your response!

As I mentioned in my initial email,  I believe this can help you lead your family into a family rhythm that pleases the lord and is easy. I would like to start by including the first vignette (clip) from the Jesus film. It is the longest clip,  but it uses the 8 minutes to give context to the remaining clips.

You can download it onto a USB drive to plug into your flat screen TV or you can watch it with your family on your computer, tablet or phone.

All you need to do is set aside 20-25 minute with your wife and children and watch the clip 2 times. But…

Before you start viewing and...

Before you repeat with the second viewing… alert all family members that you would like them to each reflect on two questions…

  • What caught your attention (or what did you like best)? and...
  • Why? (Why, that caught your attention?)

Then after the second  viewing, have each family member (including yourself) answer the above two questions. I think you will be encouraged by what they observe. Before you finish simply establish the next time with your family in 1-2 days. And...as in Peru and as an encouragement to me, take a selfie and send it to me. Of course you can end the time with a short prayer.

Congratulations, you now know how to conduct the first Dad, The Family  Shepherd (DTFS) session!
